Estelle Bertrand

Founder and Director of Hypofitness-France.Founding

Member of the International Hypopressive Concil, I am a physiotherapist trained in Belgium at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, graduated in 2005.

I was made aware of the hypopressive technique and the health of women during my studies at this University where Marcel Caufriez was my teacher. After my studies I have specialized for 2 years in Spain mainly and in France in urology, gynecology and abdology at different training schools such as CRF Amostegi, EIRPP, Bernadette Gasquet, Luc Guillarme … In 2007, I came back to France to practice urology and then opened my center of pelvic floor and abdominal rehab in 2009. I’ve been a trainer in perineology at EIRPP between 2010 and 2016. In parallel I discovered another way to work hypopressives with Low Pressure Fitness training that I followed in Spain between 2014 and 2016 until becoming trainer and ambassador France in 2016.

My family activities (2 children, in 2014 and 2016) made me quit my trainer position. After teaching this technique to my patients for 10 years in the context of pelvic floor rehabilitation, I am firmly convinced of the preventive and curative benefits of this method. My goal is to train health and sports professionals to spread this technique and make it more accessible to health professionals and especially to other professionals in sport and well-being.
